Timothy P. Casey Sr., 93, of Lima, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at his son’s home. He was born on October 13, 1932 in Lima to the late Michael and Katherine {Sullivan} Casey.
Tim served in the U.S. Army from June 1950 to May 1954, during the Korean Conflict. After his time in the military, he married Elsie May {Thomas}, who preceded him in death in 2011. He worked at B&O Railroad as a brakeman/conductor. He was a life member of the VFW Post 1275 and a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima.
He is survived by his sons, Thomas W. (Jeri) Casey, Timothy P. (Lori) Casey Jr., John F. (Joan) Casey, and Joseph A. (Karina) Casey, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and brother, Michael (Kay) Casey.
He was preceded in death by son, Leonard Paul Casey, six sisters, Rose Ellen Northon, Mary Mohler, Geraldine Casey, Norene Casey, Esther Marker, and Catherine Shinaberry; and seven brothers, Daniel S., John M., James E., William E., Richard P., Thomas J., Robert, and Charles Casey.
His family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, with a rosary service beginning at 7:30 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, December 5, 2025 at St. Rose Catholic Church, Lima. Fr. David Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.
