WILLIAM C. LAMAN, 74, died at 11:44 a.m. August 27, 2004, at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born April 23, 1930, in Lima, Ohio to Levi E. and Grace Kennedy Laman, who preceded him in death. On August 21, 1955, he married C. June Point, who survives in Elida, Ohio. Mr. Laman retired on January 31, 1986, as a production planner from Lima Register, after 31 years. He was a 1950 graduate of Elida High School. Survivors also include a brother, Norman Laman of Lima, Ohio; three sisters, Naomi Buetner of Elida, Ohio, Nora Kowalsky of Lima, Ohio and his twin, Jeannette (Clyde) Rader of Seminole, Florida; and a sister-in-law, Violet C. Humphrey of Lima, Ohio. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Clark Laman; and two sisters, Evelyn Pennell and Esther Shellenberger. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Rode will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Coronary Care Unit at Lima Memorial Hospital.
