Barbara Ann Frysinger

Barbara Ann Frysinger , 83, passed away at 4:25 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Meadows of Delphos.

Barbara was born on October 1, 1938 in Waynesfield, Ohio, to Guy Oscar and Mabel Ann (McGinnis) Kaufman. On June 25, 1960 she married Darrell Duane Frysinger, who preceded her in death on June 2, 2016.

Barbara retired from the Lima Public Library after 28 years in the Technical Service Department. She was a member of the Gomer Congregational Church and it’s Fidelis Women’s Group. She was also a member if the Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary; and the Northwest Ohio Welsh Society. She volunteered at Our Daily Bread and the Lima Chamber Information Caboose.

She is survived by her children Jeanette Lee Frysinger, Debra (Virgil) Moore, Julie Marie (Matthew) Acome, and Darrin Frysinger; grandchildren, Sarah Reichert, Zachery (Brianna) Frysinger, Matthew Acome, Preston (April) Acome, Rachel Acome, Katlyn Moore, Molly Moore; and siblings, Darrell (Linda Sue) Kaufman, Russell (Karen) Kaufman, Byron “Gene” (Marquita) Kaufman, and Linda Lee (James) Hamilton, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Carl E. Frysinger; brothers and sister-in-laws, Frank E. Kaufman, Walter “Buzz” (Betty) Kaufman; sisters and brother-in-laws,  Avis (George) Evers, and Marva (Gayle Eugene) Evers; and son-in-law Tom Reichert,

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m.  to 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Rev. Brian Knoderer will officiate.  Burial will follow at Pike Run Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gomer Congregational Church.
