Bobbie Armstead

Ms. Bobbie Armstead was born July 23, 1946 in Marion, AR to the late Hardy W. Jones and the late Mary E. Andrews.  She confessed her life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Willie (Bill) Whitfield.

Bobbie entered eternal life on December 8, 2019 at Methodist Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ruben Armstead, her son, Howard Roger, her parents, Hardy Jones and Mary Andrews, her siblings, Mary Bulliox, Gloria Hemphill, Hardy Jones, Jr., Susie Andrew Smith and Wyrena Wilson.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her granddaughters, Daqueria A'ta Roger and Daa'Riyah Roger of Lima, Ohio; two sisters, Helen Smith of West Memphis, AR and Deloris Collins of Lima, Ohio; three brothers, Walter (Shirley) Jones, Rev. W.R. (Patrica) Andrews and Bruce (Vannessa) Andrews all of Lima, Ohio; one brother-in-law, James Hemphill, Sr.; two uncles, Willie D. Jones and Alexander Jones; two aunts, Carrie McClure of West Memphis, AR and Dorthy Sallis of Menphis, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and close friends, Barbara Williams, and Gloria Russell of Lima, Ohio and Felicia Ester of Forest City, AR.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Lima, OH.  Rev. W. Andrew will give the prayer and Pastor Arnold Manley will give the Eulogy.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, OH.
