Buddie Lee Hollar

Buddie Hollar , 91, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on December 2, 2021, at his residence.

Buddie was born on December 28, 1929 in Lima, Ohio, to William and Lucille (Huston) Hollar.  He married Margaret Wurm, who survives in Lima.

Buddie was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, trap, and garden. He served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1953, during the Korean War.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his sons: Kenneth (Susan) Hollar and Jeffrey (Georgene) Hollar, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons: Leland Hollar and David Hollar, and his 3 sisters.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Legion or the VFW.
