Carolyn Yvonne Simpkins

Carolyn Yvonne Simpkins, 76, passed away at 3:38 a.m. on March 7, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

Carolyn was born on October 1, 1945 in Marion , Ohio, to Dean Roy and Katherine (Houck) Frazier.

Carolyn loved knitting, crocheting, quilting and needlework. She also loved cooking and was quite the green thumb.

She is survived by her children, Harry Simpson, Deborah Dixon, Kathleen Minch, Troy Simpson, Sarah Blankenship, Elizabeth Sellers, JoAnna Simpkins, Pamala Clark, Gregory Simpkins, and Kip Simpkins; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister Geraldine Chestnut.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Carolyn Sue Simpkins, and John Simpkins; and siblings Dean Roy Frazier II and Elizabeth Hart.

There will be no public services for Carolyn.
