Cheryl Reynolds

Cheryl Reynolds, 75, passed away at 4:25 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos, Ohio.  Cheryl was born on April 13, 1946, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Richard and Betty (Rimer) Reynolds.

Cheryl was a graduate of Columbus Grove High School and went on to receive a bachelors degree at Bluffton College.  After graduation she worked at New Vision Medical Labs St. Rita’s for her entire working career of 40 plus years as a Medical Technologist.  She was a long-time organist and planted and tended to all the flowers at Calvary Bible Church.  Cheryl also taught the Eager Beavers Club children’s class at the church.  She enjoyed bicycling and enjoyed traveling to many countries.

She is survived by her sisters, Sheila (Mike) Reynolds of Rimer, OH and Gayla (Richard) Schwartz of Iowa; nephew, Conan Schwartz; nieces, Carma Millard and Trina Kipper; seven great nieces and nephews; and first cousin, Melva Bailey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandparents: Oscar & Glenna Rimer and Margaret & Raymond Reynolds; uncle and aunt, Wendell & Faye Rimer; and first cousin, Dean Rimer.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4th at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and 10 – 11 am. on Wednesday May 5th at Calvary Bible Church, Lima, OH.   The funeral service follows at 11 a.m. at the church.  Pastor Keith Hamblen will officiate.  Burial will be at Reynolds Cemetery just North of Rimer, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Bible Church or Lima Christian Academy, 3180 W. Elm St., Lima, OH 45805.
