Cruz G. R. Herrera Jr.

Cruz G. R. Herrera Jr., 55, of Lima, passed away May 29, 2021 at Mercy Health System. He was born on April 14, 1966 in Lima to the late Cruz Sr. and Catalina {Segovia-Moralez).

Cruz had a very private personality but was always ready to help and volunteer if need be. He is survived by his sister: Gloria Furr of Lima, brother: Virgil Moralez of California, uncle and aunt: Felix and Josefine Herrera, and many cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and great-great- nieces and nephews, especially great-great niece Riley who always called him as soon as she got to her great-grandma’s house.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church, Lima.
