Diane Colasanti

Diane Colasanti , 88, passed away on July 25, 2022, at her residence.

Diane was born on June 19, 1934 in Detroit, MI , to Ernest and Dorothy (Vallad) Bine.  On October 13, 1956 she married Anthony Colasanti, who preceded her in death on April 30, 2007.

Diane was a bookkeeper and receptionist at Angel’s Family Hair Salon. Diane really enjoyed her family get togethers. She was an avid scout leader for Boy and Girl Scouts. Diane enjoyed casinos, playing cards, listening to Frank Sinatra, and was a DIE HARD Michigan Fan. She also loved Reggie, her dog.

She is survived by her children Anthony V. (Shannan) Colasanti, James E. (Kathleen) Colasanti, Christopher A. (Kimberly) Colasanti, Diana L. (Glen) Sunderland , Angel R. ( Mark Verroco) Colasanti , Mark D. (Kathryn) Colasanti, and Brett L (Kimberly) Colasanti; grandchildren Nicholas, Patrick, Nicole(John Desparrois) Colasanti, Courtney (Alex Garcia), Nathan, and Noah; a great-grandchild Lucy; and a sister-in-law Margie Bine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Ernest Bine.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at St. Gerards, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m.  Father Paul Matthew will officiate.  Burial will follow at Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes.
