John B. Cauley

John B. Cauley, 79, passed away at 2:38 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Liberty Retirement Community of Lima.

John was born on November 17, 1941 in Lima, Ohio, to the late Bernard S. and Viola M. (White) Cauley.

He was a 1959 graduate of Lima Senior High School and a graduate of Defiance College.  He owned and managed Cactus Flats Restaurant, as well as Cauley Insurance, and was also a stockbroker for Merrell Lynch for a while.  John was a member of the Masons and the Elks Lodge #54.

He is survived by his cousins: Don Britt, Ellen Fritz, Harold C. “Pete” Houtzer, James White, and Norella “Paddie” Moyer.

There will be no public visitation or services.  Burial of ashes will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery.
