Marcella Lorene Stebleton

Marcella Lorene Stebleton, 89, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Marcella was born on September 8, 1932 in Paulding County, Ohio, to Leo William and Edith Mae (Williams) Ayers.  On February 5, 1955 she married Melvin R. Stebleton, who preceded her in death on June 11, 2011.

Mrs. Stebleton was a housewife and also worked as a bus driver at Elida Local Schools for 12 ½ years. She was a member of Allentown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Marlene (Bernard) Mitch; her children: Debralee (Kenneth) Franks, Pamela Stebleton, Melody (Steven) Siefker, Kelly (James) Binkley, and Gary (Victoria) Baker; grandchildren: Brian Baker, Anthony W. “Tony” Franks, Christopher Siefker, Jennifer Siefker, and Gary Harrington; and great-grandchildren: Carl Baker, Dameron Franks, Dakota Franks, McKenna Siefker, Paige Siefker, and Lucas Siefker.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at The Church at Allentown, Allentown, Ohio.  The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Neal Whitney and Pastor Kelly Waltz officiating.  Directly following the service will be a luncheon for family and friends at the church.  On completion of the luncheon, entombment will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum, Lima.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church at Allentown.
