Mark Hardesty

Mark Hardesty , 69, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Kindred Hospital.

Mark was born on December 5, 1952 in Lima, Ohio, to Melvin J. and Mary LaVonne (Thomas) Hardesty.  On May 5, 1972 he married Vicki (Harruff) Hardesty who survives in Lima.

Mark was an assembler at Ford and a Secretary of the Union, retiring after 30 years. He loved to water ski and was a car enthusiast and an avid motorcyclist.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Cybill (Doug) Mann, Nigel Hardesty, Ashley Hardesty, and Seth Hardesty, grandchildren; Montana, Aubrey, Sam, Caleb, William, and Max, and his siblings; Pam Weaver, Tim (Erica) Hardesty, Dennis (Vickie) Hardesty, and Thomas (Pati) Hardesty.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Craig Weaver.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  on Saturday June 4,, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Rev. Al Elmore will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donor’s Choice.
