Mary E. Reese

DATELINE:  Lima, Ohio

Mary E. Reese, age 81, passed away at 10:18 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Lima Memorial Health System.

Mary was born on August 14, 1939 in Portsmouth, Ohio and adopted by the late John and Sarah (Glume) Kisor.  On May 22, 1959. she married Thomas Long   They were married for 19 years. She then married Gary Reese on August 6,1984 and they were married 17 years before he passed.

She is survived by her children, Debra Money of Jefferson, GA, Thomas “Butch” Long, Craig (Veronica) Long, and Bryan Long all of Lima, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.  She loved them all so very much.

In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was proceeded in death by her son, Jonathon Long and granddaughter, Shanteé Long.

Mary had worked at Shawnee Manor and Lima Manor.

The family will receive friends from 11am to 2pm on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.   The funeral service will follow at 2pm.   Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
