Obituary

Patricia E. Batis, 74, passed away at 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Lima Convalescent Home.

Patricia was born on August 12, 1948 in New Orleans, to Francis and Virginia (Willoughby) Andrew.  On April 7, 1984 she married Russell Batis, who preceded her in death in 1996.

Patricia worked in medical records at the Tampa Hospital. She was a member of the Market Street Presbyterian Church since 1997, where she served as a deacon and official greeter while there.  She also did many volunteer hours for the church.

She is survived by her friends, Anieta & Jim Harriman, Cheryl Stimmel, Ruth Hardesty, and Belinda Truesdale.  She was preceded in death by her husband Russell and her parents.

A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2023 at Market Street Presbyterian Church. Pastors Dottie Kaiser and Kenneth Chorle will officiate.  Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Beavercreek, Ohio at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Market Street Presbyterian Church.
