Patricia S Eberle

Patricia S. Eberle, 80, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on December 20, 2022, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Patricia was born on Wednesday, May 6, 1942, in Lima, to the late Eugene C. and Eleanor (Rothenberger) Leinsetter. On Sunday, June 2, 1963, at the Leipsic Lutheran Church, she married William R. Eberle who preceded her in death on July 17, 2000.

She retired in 2004, from Elida School Cafeteria after 25 years. She had also worked at Buckeye Pipeline and Superior Coach as a secretary. She was a member of the Bluelick Bible Church and was a former member of the Lima Baptist Temple. She had been a volunteer at St. Rita’s Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of children, plus helping people when help was needed. She loved taking pictures of family so they can and will have them for future references.

She is survived by two daughters, Diane K. (Todd Blake) Eberle of Lima, and Michelle A. (Jason) Butcher of Jackson Center; two grandchildren, Eli and Ava Ann Butcher whom she loved and adored; a sister Charlotte (Powell) Prater of Findlay; a brother, Roger W. (Karen) Leinsetter of New Haven, IN; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda S. Eberle.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, 920 N. Cable Rd., Lima, Ohio 45805.  A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.  Rev. James Neighbors will officiate.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Elida.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to MRESC, Multi Disabilities Classroom- Jackson Center.
