Phyllis Joan "Jo" Marsteller

Phyllis Joan “Jo” Marsteller, 90, died at 3:30 AM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Phyllis was born on Thursday, May 14, 1931, in Elgin, Ohio, to the late Scott Leroy  Protsman  and Opal Florence (Griggs) Prostman.  She married Oliver F. Marsteller, he survives.

She was a librarian at the Lima Public Library, and later was a Real Estate Broker and Co-Owner of the Cable Real Estate Co. She loved to crochet, sew, and garden in her flower beds. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Oliver F. Marsteller, Lima, OH; her children, Carol (Gregg) Roth, David (Teresa) Marsteller, Brenda (Richard) Bolender; grandchildren, Scott (Georgia) Roth, Amy (Nicholas) Hohenberger, Brian (Shelby) Marsteller, Kevin (Alexandria) Marsteller, Kymberlyn (Scott) Baldwin, Samuel Bankert; great-grandchildren Matthew, Gabrielle, Emily, Jacob, Esmeralda, Branson, Madison, Noah, Owen, Jaralyn, Caleb, Oliver.

She also was preceded in death by her two sisters, Dorothy (Chalmer) Harper, and Donna (Orland) Harper.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.  A funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH.  Rev. Dr. Timothy White will officiate.  Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
