Priscilla “Kay” Poling

73, of Lima Ohio went to be with the Lord on June 27, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She suffered from a short term battle of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.  Kay was born June 17, 1948 in Kentucky to Serge and Mary Daniels whom proceeded her in death. She married Melvin Poling, on September 16, 1996, who survives her.

Kay was previously employed at Fuel Mart in Cridersville, OH. She had many waitress jobs and leased the Canary Restaurant in the 80’s. Kay had a love for bingo and more love for her two dogs and cats. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 199 Lima, OH.

Kay is survived by her husband Melvin Poling of Waverly Ohio, her children Terry (Heather) Moore, of Bryan, OH, Tina Wilder of Lima, OH, Trent Moore of Ney, OH, Shawn Moore, of Edgerton, OH, Jamie (Angie) Coolidge, of Westminster, OH. Step-daughter, Lori (John) Bliek, of TN. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Proceeded in death by step son, Jeff Poling and siblings, Beulah Wanda Lawson, Naydene Hackett, Doralene Whitehead, Cloytene Conley, Glenna Brown, Violet Layne, Leon Daniels and Freddie Daniels. Surviving sister Charlotte Holbrook.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 30 from 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. a service to follow at 1:00 P.M. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Arnold Wright will be officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima
